Acts 17:24-25
“The God who made the world and everything in it is the [Sovereign] of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And [God] is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, [God Godself] gives everyone life and breath and everything else.
Sometimes, I just need to be reminded that God isn't restricted to human buildings, institutions, or actions.
God is present everywhere, in everything. While God works through humans at times, we are far from the only way God gets things done. I don't need to exhaust myself trying to bring about God's will by my hands alone; it's okay to entrust my God to continue the work even when I need to rest, whether She works through my community or other more ineffable ways.
God gives everything life and breath and being. They can pick up some human work when I need to rest.
What's one thing you can trust God with today? One thing you can take a rest from?
