Transformation
How might God be inviting you to participate in the work of transformation in your own life or in the lives of others?
John 2:9
The caterer tasted the water—which had been turned into wine—without knowing where it had come from; the only ones who knew were those who were waiting on tables, since they had drawn the water.
The story of turning water into wine reminds us that God is never far from us – even in the everyday events of our lives.
Although God may seem distant at times, God is always near, always there for you. God’s ability to come into your life when it's least expected or most needed is profound.
Just as through the power of God water was turned to wine, any situation you are in can be transformed into something divine. God has the capability to do the remarkable, the unexpected.
As you go through your day, know that God is there with you and God can foster change. You just have to stay faithful to God’s power, just as Jesus and the disciples did.
The servants played a role in the miracle by drawing the water/wine. How might God be inviting you to participate in the work of transformation in your own life or in the lives of others?
