Luke 9:29
And as he was praying, the appearance of his face altered, and his clothing became dazzling white.
We began this week with Moses—his face shining after encountering God, his community serving as both windows and mirrors. And now, we end with Jesus on the mountain, transfigured before His disciples. Different stories, separated by thousands of years, yet the truth remains the same: spending time with God changes us. And our community helps us reflect that transformation. It’s still true today.
Sometimes, that reflection is small—like a friend kindly telling you that you have something in your teeth. Other times, it is profound—someone witnessing your growth, naming the ways you have changed, reminding you of who you are becoming.
How has spending time with God through the Daily Ripple this week changed you? Has it been a window into God’s love and justice? Has it been a mirror, helping you see your past and potential growth?
