How can you encourage or make space for others to get involved in your community with their unique skills, talents, or resources?
Mark 8:8a
The people ate and were satisfied.
As the disciples hand out the fish and loaves earlier in this chapter, they are taking an active role in their shared ministry with Jesus.
While Jesus could have merely fed the crowd on his own, he didn’t. He left room for the disciples to be his co-workers, helping to meet the needs of the community together. And because of this, the crowd was able to eat their fill.
Seeing this in action is a powerful picture of what it looks like to be in community, ministering to one another and making room for all of our unique gifts an offerings.
How can you encourage or make space for others to get involved in your community with their unique skills, talents, or resources?
