Realm of Peace

Are you willing to receive the peace that naturally arises when we hand our sorrows over to our Creator who is love?

Jeremiah 31:13

Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old shall be merry. I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them, and give them gladness from sorrow.

The Mystery of God’s influence in human affairs is that, even when we can’t see how joy will come, we can trust that it will come. Perhaps this is why it seems that every human being inherently longs for joy and comfort. Even with those who have lived lives of long and undeniable suffering, there is always the hope that the suffering will come to an end and through some form of transmutation become joy.

Where does this desire come from? It is as if the soul remembers that we were not created for anything less and we long to be rescued from the troubles of this world and delivered into a realm of peace.
