Ready to Release
What might it look like to trust in the Creator’s promise of renewal, even when the world feels fractured?
Revelation 21:1
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
The passing away of the old may feel disorienting. After all, the world we know is often the world we cling to, even when it’s marked by harm and injustice. Letting go of what is fleeting isn’t about loss—it’s about clearing the way for the life the Creator is making new. In Revelation’s vision, the old order of pain, oppression, and division is dismantled so that wholeness and peace can rise in its place.
The Creator’s renewing work isn’t a distant promise but an invitation to join in the unfolding restoration here and now. In the spaces where love resists despair, where justice reclaims what was stolen, and where hope holds steady in the rubble, the new creation is already breaking through. Trusting in this promise means living with open hands—ready to release what cannot remain and receive the beauty that is yet to come.
