new clothes
How differently would we act if we carried ourselves as if clothed in the splendor and majesty of a loving God? What's different about our day, our words, our actions if we're wearing such magnificent
Psalm 104:1-2
You are clothed with splendor and majesty, covering yourself with light.
What does it mean to be clothed in splendor and majesty? There's an old saying that goes "the clothes make the person." I'm not sure what that says about me and my zoom pants though.
Do you have a favorite piece of clothing? Maybe a college t-shirt or fancy outfit? When I wear my favorite dress, I feel like I stand a little taller and laugh a little more.
I wonder about being clothed in splendor and majesty, about being covered with light. It sounds a lot like living water, something I can carry with me regardless of what I'm actually wearing.
How differently would we act if we carried ourselves as if clothed in the splendor and majesty of a loving God? What's different about our day, our words, our actions if we're wearing such magnificent clothing?
