letting go (in small ways)
Trust is an act and opportunity to rest, listen, and watch for movement rather than force things to happen. What's one small thing you can let go of for the next 24-hours and trust the Spirit?
Romans 8:14
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
This week, we spent time bridging our human heartache to the promises of God.
We reminded our weary hearts that joy is not meant to be a crumb.
We reflected on our desperate need for refuge and in the same breath acknowledged adoption into redemption is hard.
Even still we may ache and hunger for more.
The of the week, for me, is a reminder that we will have more questions than answers, and that we can trust the Holy Spirit to lead us.
Trust doesn't come easy when heartache is so real. We often prefer control over and above anything else.
Trust is a spiritual practice. It’s an opportunity to rest, listen, and watch for movement rather than force things to happen. What's one small thing you can let go of for the next 24-hours and trust the Spirit's movement?
