Psalm 37:11
But the meek shall inherit the land
I want this to be true. I want it to be that, in the long arc of the unfolding Story of Spirit, that the colonizer, the grabber, the one who takes by force does not interhit. That we as a usury and violent culture find a way to seek reparations to historical and current harms. It takes a bravery of creativity and vision to believe this might be true.
Dear God, let it be so.
What helps you tap into the bravery of hope these days? Is it a person, a community, a practice? How might you create a space for others to be able to dream together?
