It’s a bold claim backed by habit research. And, like ripples on the water, the more of us who practice our faith, the greater the potential for transformation.
So, how does that 14-minutes work?
Read
Every weekday we publish a ripple, a 150-word scripture-based prompt
Every ripple is a prompt for action, not just contemplation
Act
Our prompts come in three flavors:
self-compassion
acts of compassion
acts of justice
Based on the prompt, look for ways to enact it during your day.
Creating change through intentional acts builds the muscles and confidence needed to transform what it means to be faithful.
Maybe this takes 2-minutes, maybe it takes 10. The point is to act, not contemplate action. It is to embody compassion and justice such that words aren’t needed.
Reflect
Take a moment at the end of your day to reflect on what you did, what you learned, what you hope to do better.
That’s it.
Every faithful action we take transforms the spaces we inhabit.
The ripples of our acts of self-compassion, compassion, and justice expand outward transforming our lives, our relationships, and our communities.
