Matthew 13:32
The mustard seed is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.
It only takes a little faith for a big outcome.
Just as the small mustard seed created a huge plant, it doesn’t take a lot of faith to make dramatic shifts happen for you.
I am inspired by the ongoing faith journey of a friend who once struggled with addiction. At one point in time, his life seemed to be destroyed. He lost his career, was sentenced to time in jail, and felt like there was no hope.
A new phase began for him with just a mustard seed of faith in something beyond what he could see. With God, time, patience, and the support of his community, he was able to make major changes in his life. He is now an accomplished author, and has created a family and new career.
When you allow your mustard seed of faith to take root in your life and continue to cultivate it, the world can open up to you in a whole new way.
Is there a person who has inspired you by sharing the story of their faith journey? Has your faith journey been an inspiration to others?
