Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city. On either side of the river is the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, producing its fruit each month, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Nothing accursed will be found there any more.
Imagine if everyone in the world had access to clean drinking water, food, and healthcare. Would you say that is a form of heaven on earth?
The reality is that we have the resources and means to take care of each other physically and spiritually. Yet so many suffer while others hoard treasure and spiritual emptiness for themselves.
Revelation has already come. We are not waiting for Jesus to come back, we’re waiting on ourselves to make this prophetic vision real. There are always choices we can make for the world of this vision rather than one we have.
These are choices about how we live our life and where we're willing to make contributions toward co-creating a new paradigm where everyone is taken care of.
