O magnify God with me, and let us exalt their name together.
We're two days away from Christmas. I can imagine our conversations drifting to Santa, gifts, or traditions.
All the anticipation and preparation is coming to an end. On Christmas morning I know that every wrapped present under the tree will remain unopened for only a few moments.
Those unwrapped gifts remind me of the unclaimed and unopened good news we leave under the tree year after year.
While this holiday that bears Christ’s name seems less sacred to me sometimes, but I try and remember the gifts of Jesus that unwrapped in our lives.
I wonder how this season could illustrate the contrasting differences of Santa and Christ. How can we unwrap those gifts in our lives?
Santa gifts are earned, but Jesus' are freely given. That's a story worth telling and a gift worth unwrapping.
