“O taste and see that the Lord is good.”
God can sometimes feel like an elusive concept, rather than something/someone we can actually engage with our senses.
What might it mean to taste God… or see God… especially during this holiday season?
I taste God in the pot of gumbo my auntie will make with love.
I see God in the strings of lights, imperfectly hung on trees and homes.
I hear God in the music and laughter.
I smell God in the candles and pine trees and mulled wine.
I feel God in hugs and kisses, and sometimes even in the stillness.
And I know that God is good. How might you just rest in the goodness of God today?
