10.12.23 - Matthew 18:13
What do you experience when other people find you? Not just acknowledge you, but really find you. Relief? Joy? Comfort? How might you offer that to someone else today?
And if they find it, truly I tell you, they rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.
You are worth being found.
In those lost lonely moments, we might begin to wonder if anyone will notice we're gone.
If anything, please let this be a reminder that not only are you missed, but when you're found again it is worth rejoicing over.
You are worthy of celebration.
It doesn't matter if you've been pushed aside, intentionally separated, or wandered away on your own volition (or for your own safety).
You are worth being found, and when we find you, we will celebrate.
We sometimes take this faith thing so seriously we forget joy, celebration, and laughter together. Changing the world doesn't always have to be so serious. Sometimes change comes with simply celebrating together.
Who in your world needs to be found today? How might you celebrate experiencing them again?
